German police arrest brothers for planning attack in Oberhausen
Special units of the German police, two brothers were arrested in Duisburg, germany that may have had plans of committing an attack at the shopping mall CentrO in Oberhausen.
The men are 28 and 31 years old and born in Kosovo. That leaves the police in the night from Thursday to Friday, reports the German press agency dpa.
“At this very moment, feverishly examined how far the preparations have progressed and whether there are multiple persons are involved”, let the police know. Want more information, the authorities will not give.
Thursday night was the police after information security services with many men pulled up to the mall and the nearby christmas market. After the closure of the shops and the christmas market around 22.00 hours in the evening left a large part of the police.
CentrO is one of the largest shopping centres in Germany with more than 220 shops. In the mall each year a large christmas market is held.
