A Georgia homeowner fatally shot three teenagers who were allegedly trying to rob him and two others on a Monday night, officials said.
The teens — ages 15, 16 and 16 close to city of residence in Conyers, a town about 25 miles south-east of Atlanta, georgia, with their faces covered with masks, in accordance with the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office.
The trio attempted to rob three individuals at the front of the house, and one of the teenagers ” was waving a gun and shot this in my front yard.

One of the victims of the attempted robbery returned fire, shooting all three of the teen-agers, authorities said in a news release. One of the teenagers died at the scene while two others died at a nearby hospital.

Sheriff Eric Levett said deputies responded to the scene after a report of shots fired. When they arrived, the dead man was a teenager at the border of the street and in the driveway, and one of the teenagers who was shot was a little further down the road, where it turns out that he was on the run.”
Investigators said the three people who had been in the Conyers property and the neighbors have been interviewed, but no one has brought up. Levett confirmed two guns were found at the scene and told reporters it was possible that this could be a “stand-your-ground” nature of the case, on the basis of the preliminary information.
A witness, Carlos Watson told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, he woke up to the sound of gunfire.”
“I heard someone cry out for help … then I heard it again, and when I came out,” Watson said. “There was a man, and put our neighbor, Mr. Jenkins was helping him out.”

He said that the situation is similar to a home invasion that went badly for the invaders,” and said that the community was in a “nice area” that does not see any crime and many times.
