The actor hit by a car while riding the bike on the way to a movie set on the island of Sardinia in Italy. Clooney’s injuries were not believed to be serious.
After his horrific crash last summer, ” George Clooney said in an interview this week that he is done with bikes for good.
“I was lucky enough to go on that one. It’s officially got me out of the motors after 40 years of age, and that’s a shame,” Clooney, during an interview on ITV’s “This Morning,” he said, per The Sun.
Clooney, 58, who was on the top of the engine while driving on the highway in Italy this past summer. The star is traveling at a high speed when a car unexpectedly pulled up for him to take. The ensuing collision sent to speak several languages, fly a distance of about 20 feet in the air, and doesn’t require a visit to a hospital in Sardinia.

The academy award-winning producer Grant Heslov, who was also present during the ITV interview, and when a motorcycle accident occurs, the crash had been “a lot worse than the press, again.”
“He was behind me, and we came up over a hill and I see a man that I thought I had locked eyes, and then he went,” Heslov said. “He missed me, and I’ve heard this ka-boom. And I thought, ‘Oh, my God, my God. George is dead.”‘ I loved him, and I said to myself, ” If he is alive, I will never ride a motorcycle again.'”
Clooney also admitted in the interview that his wife, Amal, has forbidden him from riding a motorcycle ever again.
“It was one of those conversations comes back to the hospital and they said to him, ‘it is what it is.” And I was kind of thinking, ‘Maybe I can get away with it.’ And that my friend, who was in the accident with me, and Grant [Heslov], and said, ” Yes, I am the way,'” said Clooney.
“There was nothing I could do about it, I was ganged up,” he said jokingly.
The “Catch-22” star previously revealed that the incident forced him to stop riding for good, as he explained during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter’s First-Look-and-feel in mid-May.

“I had come to an end. I hit him at 70 miles per hour,” he said. “I split my helmet in half, it knocked me out of my shoes…. It is very hard to hit. It was bad, I was just waiting for the switch to turn it off. I broke his windshield with my head. And I thought to myself: “OK, OK, ok, that’s my neck.'”
Fortunately for Clooney, it was released from the hospital very shortly after having been admitted, and if his injuries were minor. He disclosed that the accident didn’t even stall the production of the new series. He said that he will go back to work just four days after near-fatal crash.
“If you have nine lives, I’ve used them all,” Clooney added that at the moment.
