George Clooney has been signed by the director and the actor for a new movie from Netflix. It’s going to be a film adaptation of the book Good Morning, Midnight by Lily Brooks-Dalton, reported in the media, in a press release.
Grant Heslov, of Smokehouse Pictures, and Clooney, the film, will produce with Anonymous Content, and a Syndicate of Entertainment. Clooney takes on the lead role in and of itself. He plays Augustine, a lone scientist at the north Pole who is trying to get in a space ship that is attempting to return to the earth.
“Grant and I are very much looking forward to this project,” says Clooney in reaction. Scott Stuber, head of the film departement of Netflix, said that no one in this story is more to life than Clooney, with whom he spent over two decades working with.
Clooney recently served as the executive producer, director, and actor in the tv series, and Catch-22.
