President-elect, Donald Trump still has a friend in Garth Brooks in spite of the country singer turning down the opportunity to sing at his inauguration.
Brooks explained that he’s all about “People loving People” and is “praying” for Trump, but due to a scheduling conflict, and eventually he had to act on 20 January.
The country superstar explains in a Facebook Live video that after he was approached by the billionaire Steve Wynn about the inauguration performance, Brooks decided to “leave it to karma.” The ticket sales determined Brooks need to add several dates to his world tour, which was in conflict with the inauguration.
“I will say with this whole presidential thing: We got one to go. Pray for him and his family. And for the president, pray for him and his family to guide this nation,” says sara. “Let’s stay together. The love, unity — that is what it’s all about.”
He continues, “We can’t thank the obama’s enough for serving this country,” he said. “And God loves Trump’s hand in the decisions he makes in this country of the name.”
