The videostreamingdienst Twitch has a desktop agent to be released, with which users can talk to each other.

The desktop app is to download it from the official Twitch website for Windows and Mac.

Twitch is best known for his livestreamfunctie, which games their progress in games to broadcast. The desktop app, however, focuses mainly on text chats. This seems to be the app on a social network.

Users can create groups for others to talk. Within such a group, it is possible to have multiple channels. The application seems greatly to business instant messaging service Slack. Discord, an instant messaging service for gamers, works in a similar way.

At startup of the software, users can Friend Sync enable. This is to see if friends in other apps as well on Twitch, so that easily can be added.

The desktop version of Twitch is based on similar software of Curse, a company that, in 2016, was acquired by Twitch.

Previously introduced Twitch, still Pulse, a timeline similar to that of Facebook.
