Gamebedrijf Unity receives investment of 400 million

The company Unity, which provides software for game developers, has an investment of $ 400 million received.
The money comes from investment fund Silver Lake, confirms director John Riccitiello of Unity against Bloomberg.
According to sources of that news agency is Unity a rating of 2.6 billion dollars attributed. About half of the investment will be paid out to early employees and investors of Silver Lake, while the rest is in the growth of the company is inserted.
Unity makes a so-called engine for games, which it easier for developers to make games to develop. Many games for consoles and mobile devices, including the hitgame Pokémon Go, make use of the graphic software of Unity.
The engine is also widely used to create games for virtual and augmented reality. Investors expect that those sectors in the coming years will grow.
