Kit Harington stars as Jon Snow on the HBO series “Game of Thrones.”
Kit Harington spoke about his “amazing journey” “Game of Thrones” — as well as the show come to a close — in a recent radio interview.
The 31-year-old actor was asked about the hit HBO series, while you are with Craig Charles on BBC Radio 2.
“Do you feel like it’s an albatross around your neck, or do you still enjoy the huge global success of?” Charles asked the stars.
“I’ve always enjoyed it,” Harington entrusted. “I mean, I’ve actually just wrapped on Thursday last week. It is just this amazing journey.”
He continued, “And I have said that she is on my cover speech that … it’s always been more than a job.”
Harington added: “It is as if they were a family and it was my life. And, I’ve enjoyed every minute. I got very emotional all last week to think about it, have been completed.”

Last week, co-star Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark on the fantasy show, also said goodbye to the program and its character.
Williams shared a photo of a pair of shoes with her Instagram followers on Saturday, and a recorded message in the caption.

“Goodbye belfast,” she wrote, referring to the Irish town where the show was filmed. “Farewell, arya. goodbye game of thrones.”

And she was not the only “Game of Thrones” star to share on social media send-off: actress Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, shared in a message on Instagram June 17.

Clarke posted a picture of themselves in a field of flowers on her Instagram account at the moment.
“Hopped on a boat to an island to say goodbye to the country that is my home away from home for almost a decade,” her message read.
The 31-year-old actress said: “It is a journey @gameofthrones thank you for the life that I had never dreamed that I would be able to live and the family-I will never stop missing #?#lastseasonitis.”
The last season of “Game of Thrones,” airing in 2019, will reportedly consist of six episodes.
