The Emmy Awards are Sunday evening (local evening) issued in Los Angeles. The series American Crime Story: The People v. O. J. Simpson, and Game of Thrones made their favorietrol where.

Just like last year, the fantasyserie Game of Thrones there with the Emmy for ‘best drama series’ off. Veep won for the second year in a row, an Emmy for ‘best komedieserie’.

American Crime Story: The People v. O. J. Simpson, the series that goes about the court case against the former American football star O. J. Simpson, was awarded the Emmy for ‘best miniseries’. Also members of the cast fell in the prices: Courtney B. Vance (“best male actor in a miniseries or movie’), Sarah Paulson (“best female role in a miniseries or a movie”) and Sterling K. Brown (“best male supporting actor in a miniseries or movie) received an Emmy.

Rami Malek won, to his own surprise, an Emmy for ‘best male actor in a drama series’ for his role in Mr. Robot. In the same category, the women fell to the Orphan Black actress Tatiana Maslany in the prices.

Maggie Smith (Downtown Abbey) was honored with an Emmy for ‘best female supporting actor in a drama series’. The 81-year-old British, however, was not present for the golden statuette. The actress is now nine times nominated and won the Emmy four times, but was never at the ceremony. Ben Mendelsohn was awarded for his supporting role in the drama series Bloodline.

The ‘best television movie’ at the Emmy’s was Sherlock: The Abominable Bride.

The Voice

Earlier in the evening if Julia Louis-Dreyfus an Emmy for ‘best female lead in a komedieserie’ for her role in Veep. She wore the price of her father, who three days ago came to death. In the same category, but then at the men, was the Emmy for Jeffrey Tambor for his role in Transparent.

An emotional Kate McKinnon (Saturday Night Live) got an Emmy for ‘best female supporting actor in a komedieserie’. Louie Anderson, who the very first was that a golden statue might get, received an Emmy in the category “best male supporting role in a komedieserie’ for his role in Baskets.

Regina King (American Crime) won an Emmy in the category ‘best female supporting actor in a miniseries or movie’.

The 68th issue of the televisieprijzen was presented by Jimmy Kimmel. The comedian presented the show in 2012.

Last week in Los Angeles, the Creative Arts Emmy Awards in the run-up to the Primetime Emmy Awards. Netflix series Making a Murderer then won four awards, including for best documentary. Game of Thrones then won nine awards for casting, stunts, make-up, costumes and visual effects.

Nominations

The fantasyserie Game of Thrones had this year, most likely to awards, with 26 nominations. American Crime Story: The People v. O. J. Simpson was 22 at the time nominated.

Last year, broke Game of Thrones, among others, with the Dutch actors Carice van Houten and Michiel Huisman, the world record of most won emmys for a single season. When won the series from 24 nominations and twelve Awards.

At the komedieseries had HBO Veep the most nominations. The series, with Julia Louis-Dreyfus as grofgebekte vice president of the United States, won 17 nominations in the wait.
