Maisie Williams is the voice recording of one of the characters in the comic animated film of Early Man, who in prehistoric times play. She joins actors Eddie Redmayne and Tom Hiddleston.
“I’m a big fan of the Aardman animations. For me it is a dream, now I’m with Nick Park go together. Especially now that I have the voice may say for a character as well as Goona,” says the 19-year-old Williams in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
Early Man, from animation studio Aardman Animations, that is created under the guidance of animator Nick Park, who previously won an Oscar for his film Wallace & Gromit.
Williams will be the voice recording of the character Goona, a brave rebel who, together with Dug (voiced by Redmayne) befriends. Together they try to cope with the transition from the stone age to the bronze age.
According to Park, is Williams a great actress for whom, given her role in Game of Thrones, is not alien to the role of a heroine. “I can’t wait until they Goona brings to life with her voice.”
