‘Gambling’ Anderlecht-icon Deschacht will be able to escape celstaf

Olivier Deschacht will no longer need to fear imprisonment. The 35-year-old defender of Anderlecht may need to only pay a fine for the violation of any of the kansspelwet in Belgium.
Defender Deschacht hit a few months ago discredited, because he would have gambled on matches of his own club.
The twintigvoudig international of the ‘Red Devils’ claims that his brother’s account, had gambled on the results of duels of Anderlecht, in the Champions League. Gambling on their own matches is prohibited in Belgium.
The Public Ministry has the matter investigated, but decided Thursday file back over to the gaming commission.
That means that Deschacht escaped a lawsuit. He may have a penalty of 25,000 euros to pay.
Before there was according to VTM and The Newspaper demonstrated that, on the account of Deschacht money was won with the defeat of Anderlecht in the Champions League against Benfica.
