Gambia confisqueert power ex-president Jammeh
The government of the Gambia has seized funds and assets of the former president Yahya Jammeh.
The minister of Justice Abubacarr Tambadou said that it’s going to be under more 131 immovable property, including rags (agriculture)land, and fourteen companies. In addition, 88 bank accounts frozen.
There is still an investigation into the possible embezzlement of approximately 45 million euros of taxpayers ‘ dollars by Jammeh. This ruled the West African country for 22 years with a firm hand.
