Frustration on the appointment, Wonder Woman at the UN
The United Nations have the 75th anniversary of the comic strip character Wonder Woman as an opportunity for her to appoint as honorary ambassador for the emancipation of women and girls.
Both within the country organization and beyond, is critically commented on the appointment, which, according to many, to be a real and less-sexual woman had to go.
The ceremony was Friday boycotted by some fifty UN employees, who demonstrably have their back turned away.
The UN want the image of Wonder Woman used on social media to the emancipation of women to promote.
Honorary ambassadors are fictiefiguren, as previously Winnie the Pooh ambassador for the friendship and Tinker Bell for the environment.
The UN staff is a petition started to have the secretary-general to request the appointment to be reviewed. The petition follows the appointment of former Portuguese prime minister Antonio Guterres to the new secretary-general, after fifty countries and many international organizations had lobbied for a woman on the highest diplomatic post in the world.
