From Antwerp to New York: Belgian is the new curator of Metropolitan Museum

Karen Van Godtsenhoven is going to collaborate with director Andrew Bolton for the Costume Institute, a department of the world famous WITH. Of Godtsenhoven light to VRT to what her new job entails.

For her appointment at the Metropolitan Museum of Art worked with Van Godtsenhoven since 2009 as a curator for the fashion museum in Antwerp. That job leave them with regrets in the heart behind, but an opportunity like this, she couldn’t let it lie. “There are but few highly regarded modemusea in the world and that of Antwerp that certainly includes.
