French army is moving on due to budget cuts by president Macron
The French army general Pierre de Villiers on Wednesday submit his resignation out of anger about the budget cuts that president Emmanuel Macron at defence policies.
French media reported that the general had understood from Macron that defense this year in the budget, would be spared. He expressed last week, compared to parliamentarians his anger that there still will be cuts. Macron would not his word have kept.
Macron was, according to French media angry at the loslippige general who proclaimed that the proposed cuts do not behave. The armed forces have 850 million euro decrease.
