Française violent man killed after pardon Hollande
Française, Jacqueline Sauvage, which became known by the murder of her violent husband is released. President François Hollande announced that he Wednesday, a presidential pardon has been granted that an “immediate end to her imprisonment.”
This is a trailing legal process came to an end.
The case-Sauvage did in France raised some dust. The woman shot her husband in the 2012 death after a marriage she described as a 47-year hell full of abuse and mistreatment.
During her process they grew into a symbol of all victims of domestic violence. It helped her immediately: she was sentenced to ten years in prison.
After massive endorsements decided to Hollande in January of this year that they are subject to conditions free had to come. The French court for strafrechtstoepassing found her release, however, is not responsible and put a stop to it, after psychological research have a negative opinion was rolled.
Hollande has now decided Sauvage a full pardon to grant. Of that power he had but once before been used.
