‘Foxconn-factory in the USA will pay for itself in only about 25 years back
It will be 25 years until the planned Foxconn factory in the U.s. Wisconsin itself has recovered.
This is evident from research carried out on behalf of the U.s. government, in the hands of Reuters.
Techfabrikant Foxconn wants a factory worth $ 10 billion to open in Wisconsin. This plant would be around 2021, a total of 13,000 jobs have to offer.
The state of Wisconsin should be part of the factory to invest, but according to the research, it takes a long time until this investment has paid for itself. Only in 2042 would be the state of his investment back.
According to Scott Walker, the Republican governor of Wisconsin, is the factory of Foxconn, a “unique opportunity” for the state. The researchers emphasize that their analysis is partially speculative, because it deals with a long period of time.
Representative of the Democrats Peter Barca is that research reason to take another look at the plans. “We ask us through the analysis on whether the state of the investment by taxpayers can recoup,” said Barca.
The American president, Trump recently said that Apple has three large factories in the United States, open to region in the U.S. to generate. Apple CEO Tim Cook has not yet responded.
Foxconn is a major supplier of Apple, but also supplies components to other tech.
