Fox writes Ladies Tour in Norway on her name

Marianne Vos has Sunday the Tour of Norway on her name written. The 30-year-old Brabant defended her leader’s jersey with success in the final stage of the Ladies Tour.
Fox took Saturday and all the leader’s jersey in Norway about the Belgian Jolien d’hoore. She finished second in the second stage and picked up enough bonificatieseconden to the power in the WorldTour race to take over.
In the relatively flat final stage from Svinesund to Halden about 158,6 km she had a third place enough to take the lead in the general classification.
Megan Guarnier took the victory in the third stage and Ellen van Dijk was second. Fox assured not only of the final victory, but also won the points classification in the last stage and an intermediate sprint to win.
The newly crowned European champion, who in July all of the gc in the BeNe Ladies Tour won, hopes next month in the Norwegian town of Bergen for the fourth time in her career to become a world champion.
