It is best to avoid to talk the politics of this season to stay if you want, with whom you love.

The Council is courtesy of the latest Fox News poll.

Just over half of voters say they have argued with friends and family about the election (51 percent).

Most probably had a feud with a family, voters under 30 years of age (66 percent), women under 45 years of age (61 percent), liberals (59 percent), North Easterners (58 percent) and Democrats (56 percent). Also those groups are, the more likely Hillary Clinton have supported for President.

And the voters do not feel that all come together just yet. Seventy-seven percent see the country as a “dysfunctional family that is breaking apart.” Only 18 percent say that it is a “tight-knit family, which strengthened from difficult times.”

The survey also revealed that 83 per cent of the voters have respect for the people who backed Clinton, while less, 73 percent, have respect for those who voted for Donald Trump.

At least part of the difference is: 67% of trump voters have respect for the people who backed Clinton but only 50 percent of Clinton voters have a lot of respect for Trump voters.

Does Trump respect? It is a tossup: 49 percent think the President-elect has respect for “people like you”, while 47 percent disagree.

The gender gap is a ravine: men are more likely to say Trump, respecting them by 28 points (62 against 34 no). By a 20-point margin, say the women Trump has no respect for you (38 to 58 no).

The Fox News poll is based on landline and cell phone interviews with 1,034 randomly selected voters nationwide and was conducted under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R) from December 11-13, 2016. The survey has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points for all registered voters.
