Four officials have been indicted for their role in the waterschandaal in the American location Flint. Hundreds of people drunk a year and a half of water with a high concentration of lead.

Attorney general Bill Schuette of Michigan, made the expansion of the number of suspects Tuesday known, according to the BBC.

A former crisis manager and a financial director of the place of Flint are suspected of conspiracy, to act under false pretences, misconduct, and dereliction of duty.

Two former employees of the public works department of the municipality of conspiracy and acting under false pretenses suspicious.

The four suspects depends, twenty years of cell above the head.


In april, all six officials of the state and the city of Flint sued, in July came another six. In total, there are now thirteen people suspected in the case.

The problems in Flint began after the city in 2014 was switched to other water sources to save money. The water came from older pipes and was saltier. Residents began to complain about the taste, smell and color of drinking water. Later it turned out that there lead have arrived.
