The day after their historic 2-0 victory against Norway at the european CHAMPIONSHIP women’s football have the Red Flames on Friday in the Dutch Rows to have an open training session finished for four hundred Belgian fans.
The Belgian women’s football is currently in an unprecedented era. Thursday there were already 6.200 Belgian fans in the Rat Verleghstadion in Breda, the training started a day later on the Belgian national holiday 400 fans to the Netherlands. The eleven players that Thursday at the kick-off had appeared came with the bike from the hotel in Gilze to the field in Rows driven. After the training, the names, the Flames extended the time for selfies with the fans and there were signatures distributed.
Thanks to the victory Thursday against Norway is anything in Group A will re-open and have the Belgian women football from coach Ives Serneels their destiny in their own hands. With a win Monday against the Netherlands in a sold-out King Willem II stadium in Tilburg, they are indeed sure of a place in the quarter-finals. For a draw or a defeat, they are depending on the result in the Scandinavian duel between Denmark and Norway. With six points going to the Netherlands is currently heading, Belgium and Denmark follow with three points, Norway is at zero.
