The presumed lost painting by the Dutch-British painter Lawrence Alma-Tadema is 230,000 to 346.000 euros worth. The painting appeared in the BBC tv programme Antiques Roadshow, a sort of British-Between Art & Kitsch.

Saturday unveiled the BBC the discovery of the painting, but Sunday night was in the program the appraised value is known.

Successful painter

Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema (also known as Lourens Alma Tadema called) was in the nineteenth century, one of the most successful painters in the world. Alma-Tadema was born in Friesland and went later, live in London.A descendant took it to the filming of the BBC show.
