Homann, who served as Deputy ICE Director under President Donald Trump from 2017-2018, from the commentary on “America’s Newsroom”, a day after the Mexican police and immigration agents arrested hundreds of Central American migrants, the cars in the biggest single raid on a migrant, living, as the groups set in motion by the country in the past year.

“I think it’s a good thing that they are reinforced, as I have said, the criminal cartels are operating with impunity in Mexico,” said Homann.

“It is actually a crime in Mexico to commit alien smuggling, trafficking in persons, especially women and children, so I’m glad to intensify that Mexico finally, but I will hold my final judgment until I see the number one, this is a continuous process that goes on? And number two, what are the results of these operations are? You are going to give you asylum in Mexico? To deport you go back to your home? Or are you going to be at the end, they dissolve only slowly making their way to the United States?”

He added, “I know, we have CBP (US Customs and Border Protection) observers and advisors, I want to down there, along with ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), just to see what is the result and what are the long-term effects.”

Homan added that for years, when agents arrested and more than a million people, but he said it is important to note that 95 percent of those arrests were Mexican nationals, the processes were removed and within one hour.

“If I were a border patrol agent, I catch the same alien three or four times in a layer. So, the million was really a million, it was probably a half a million in several times,” said Homann.

“But this is by far the worst I’ve ever seen, because these one million people, you come in and you don’t go home, because you are taking advantage of asylum laws, they could take years to get you far. This is a crisis I have never seen before at this level.”
