Foreign affairs warns of a holiday in Turkey on July 15
The ministry of Foreign Affairs the travel advice for Turkey Wednesday, adapted. Reason is the upcoming commemoration of the failed couppoging of last year in the country on and around July 15.
The ministry calls than in the whole of Turkey to be alert and gatherings and crowded places to avoid. Also, people better stay away from the demonstrations. “This can lead to violence,” warns the Foreign office.
On July 15, 2016 tried counterparts of the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a coup d’état to commit. Their attempt failed. Since then, the proportions in the country was tense.
