Anwar El Ghazi has Tuesday a contract for four and a half years, signed with Lille OSC. The French club will pay Ajax reportedly 8 million euros for the 21-year-old attacker.

El Ghazi traveled last week to Northern France for the medical, but the transfer was only Tuesday on Deadline Day completed. According to various media will be the 19-year-old Brazilian David Neres of Sao Paulo, the successor of the winger at Ajax.

“I am very happy that I signed in Lille,” says El Ghazi in a first reaction at the site of his new club. “I got a good feeling with this club.”

“I can’t wait to start. I saw all the prices when I got here, and I know that Eden Hazard and Patrick Kluivert have played. That means that Lille are a big club. My message to the fans is that I am always one hundred percent will give.

El Ghazi, who is wearing number 7 is going to play in the North of France, is the sixth Dutchman to Lille after Wilhelm van Lent, Cor van der Hart, Cees van Kooten, Adick Koot and Kluivert.

Ajax picked El Ghazi in 2013, way up from the youth of Sparta Rotterdam. After his debut in the season 2014/2015 he was soon a fixture in the national team by the then coach Frank de Boer.

In his first two seasons was the attacker for a total of twenty hits. He was in October 2015 by coach Danny Blind called for Orange and played against Kazakhstan and Turkey have so far been the only national football team.
