A Florida daughter accused of cutting of her mother’s eyeballs with shards reportedly shouted “I am a murderer, I’m a murderer!” before he is taken into custody for the horrific attack.
Camille Balla, 32, was arrested early Friday on suspicion of committing murder after the slash-on the body of her mother, Francisca Monteiro-Balla, 55, was found in their blood-soaked Royal Palm Beach home.
“I killed my mother, and I need help,” Balla, who claimed that smoking cannabis may be laced with Flakka or PCP before the incident, told responding deputies, according to a police report viewed by the Sun-Sentinel.

Balla handed over a few bloody keys to the house, and the detectives say that they found her mother’s eyeballs removed from their sockets and placed on top of a cardboard box in the garage. Monteiro-Balla was killed with glass shards, and had suffered wounds to the head, arms, chest and stomach, she added.
Researchers also found a number of handwritten notes throughout the house with religious overtones “in connection with the clearing of the soul,” the Sun-Sentinel added, citing a police report.
The police said Balla had a wound on her hand and screamed “I am a murderer, I’m a killer!” while you are being treated by the ambulance staff. They were called to investigate after a colleague found Balla covered in blood outside the house, according to the newspaper.
Balla was denied bond during a hearing Monday and was ordered by a court to a mental evaluation. The police also said that they walked around for periods of time during the arrest and had had attacks of screaming while you are being treated by hospital staff.
