A scary moment for a slingshot ride, a cable break, for it’s launch. No injuries have been reported.
The two men, who were eager to be launched into the air on a slingshot ride at a Florida amusement park, is in for a nasty surprise, when, just as they were about to be launched — the ride of the cables and spread out.
A Video of the incident, was taken at the Cobra Adventure Park in Panama City Beach on Saturday night, and it shows that the two parkgoers strapped in with a harness on for the ride as he gets ready to take flight, and probably a few hundred feet in the air.

“Three… two… y’all gonna be screaming like sissies, one,” people are calling it just before the drive out of the right-hand side of the ropes, seemingly destroying it, and the catapult would be sent flying. An employee later saw the removal of the men from the stage.
Krissy Hurst, who posted the video on Facebook, told WTVT she was used to the thrill ride and a lot of times, but decided not to at the last minute because she had a bad feeling about this. They took away the video because of the drive’s recording system is down.
She told me that the men are to receive a refund from the theme park, but it doesn’t seem “as if someone really was in here.”

Hurst added that the men were strapped in when the ride slammed “at all freaked out still.”
