A Florida sheriff and was a sign with the words “this is a drug house to be closed for business is at the front of the home of a suspected dealer as he was taken into custody last week.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) has been published a photo Wednesday that showed Sheriff Rick Staly’s name emblazoned on it’s board members being arrested a 39-year-old Jarian Rahsaun Webb, a seven-time convicted felon, and brought him to the front of his Palm Coast home.

Webb’s arrest comes at the conclusion of a number of operations over the past several months, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. The investigation has been launched after residents in the area complained of, and a suspicion of drug activity at the house.

During the investigation, detectives witnessed the men entering and leaving the house at all times, and later confirmed, that the sale of illegal drugs from the residence, the release stated.

The FCSO’s Special Investigations Unit executed a narcotics search warrant and seized a half-pound of cannabis, some of which was packaged for distribution, along with hydrocodone pills, ecstasy pills, a scale and packaging materials, and the sheriff’s office said. Detectives also seized $4,000 to the dollar is assumed that the profits from the sale of illegal drugs.

Investigators also found a loaded 9 mm handgun hidden inside an oven. Webb denied knowledge of the gun, the release said, but admitted that he knew about the box of ammunition of the same make and caliber in the gun that the detectives found anywhere else in the house.

Webb, who lived alone, encounters with a variety of drug and weapons charges, including possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of cannabis with intent to sell.

He was taken to the Sheriff of Perry Hall, Detained in the Detention facility without bond. He may face additional charges as the investigation continues.

“Unfortunately, drugs, guns, and money can go hand in hand,” Staly said. “Retailers are frequently the target of robbery, home invasions, and other violent crimes, and illegal activities attract unwanted visitors to the beautiful city.

“Our investigators and the members of the community reported suspicious activity and has done a great job in taking the drug and poison peddler off the street,” he said.
