A Florida man was Friday arrested after he allegedly hit an ATM because it “was him to a lot of money” during an incident in November.
Michael Joseph Oleksik, 23, was charged with criminal mischief after Wells Fargo requested Cocoa Police filed charges against the man.
Law enforcement told Florida Today that Oleksik was seen on the surveillance images”, standing at the ATM, pummeling the electronic counter to record the touch-screen on Nov. 29.”
He then allegedly with a so-called Wells Fargo, and apologized for the damage to the teller machine, but he said that he was “angry with the ATM he had been to a lot of money and he didn’t know what to do.”
A Wells Fargo branch in Cocoa, Florida, requested that the police press charges against Oleksik, who was booked into the Brevard County Jail.
