Two female students at a Florida high school were arrested this week after a teacher discovered their plans to kill at least nine people, police say.
The teacher reportedly became suspicious when she saw that the two 14-year-old girls acting “hysterical”, while looking for a folder in Avon Park Middle School in the middle of Florida. The teacher later found in the folder, which was labeled “private information,” not “open” and “Project 11/9,” according to Fox 13.
Inside, the teacher found eight pieces of paper that refer to weapons, and stated nine people by their full names or initials that the girls allegedly wanted to kill.
The girls, who cannot be named because of their age, were arrested after school on Wednesday when the teacher gives her findings to the police.
The folder allegedly included detailed notes about what the girls would wear as they carried out their plans, with hand-written additions such as “no nails,” and “no hair to show, from the moment we put on our clothes,” WTSP reports.

The report by the Highlands County Sherriff’s office said that “the plans were written in detail how they would lure the victims, kill victims and dispose the bodies of the victims.” The plans reportedly revealed that the girls would pick up three people and kill them, and the other six were also killed.
The teacher who reported the girls said that they heard one say that they would say that it was a “joke” if the folder is found and its affiliated.
A parent of another child at the school said that she was particularly surprised to hear that the two girls were also involved in the alleged “hit list” because they were considered popular and loved by Avon Park Middle School.
“It’s scary not knowing if your child is on the list or not,” Vicky Setters told Fox 13. “[One of the defendants] was really friendly and everything. She said that it didn’t seem like it would be her, or one of them, and they were both real friends and be popular at school.”
