Florida girl, 11, stabbed my attacker with a pair of scissors, deputies say

Florida-deputies say an 11-year-old girl saved her mother from a beating at the weekend by stabbing her attacker in the back with a pair of scissors.

“Mommy, can I put it, because I thought he was going to kill you,” the arrest affidavit quotes the girl as saying. She has been described as a “shake up.”

In the court papers, released on Tuesday by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said the man was her brother, Panagiotis Karamanlis, a 44-year-old Greek national who is unlawfully present in the netherlands.

The mother of the girl, it is Karamanlis’s sister.

The court papers said that on Saturday, in Palm Harbor and a young girl is interrupted when her mother was struck in the face resulting in a bruise.

Karamanlis was charged with child abuse and domestic battery.

The Online data showed that Immigration and Customs Enforcement has placed it, to keep Karamanlis in the Pinellas County Jail.
