An American Airlines flight from Charlotte to Salt Lake City was diverted to Tulsa, Okla. after the man allegedly grabbed the crotch of an passenger sitting next to him, according to a press release made by the United States Attorney’s Office on Friday.
James Clayton Cholewinski-Young, 32, was charged with abusive sexual contact with a female passenger by a federal prosecutors as a result of [his] alleged actions taken on the aircraft,” the release stated.
As a special agent for the FBI, said in a statement that, in Cholewinski-the Boy touched the arm of a woman standing next to him during the flight on Tuesday, so they will have to push his hands away.

She said that the suspect is in his advances, grabbing her crotch before she pushed his hand away and told him to stop it — at which point he held his hands up, and apologized.
“This week on the American Flight, 807, travel, North Carolina, Utah, was diverted to Tulsa because of the alleged behavior of the passenger, James Clayton Cholewinski-Boy,” said the chief Prosecutor of the s. S. the river Trent’s Banks, in the Northern District of Oklahoma, in a statement. “Today, the United States Attorney’s Office filed a criminal charge as a result of that, Mr. Cholewinski-boys’ alleged actions at the airport.”

“The public needs to know that these allegations refer to criminal sexual misconduct by Mr. Cholewinski-Boy and a female passenger, does not pose a threat to the aircraft, or air travel,” Banks said. “The Federal Bureau of Investigation, along with the Tulsa International Airport, and the police reacted quickly and professionally to this situation and, as soon as the plane touched down in Tulsa.”
He added: “The FBI is investigating this case to move forward. I am thankful for the men and women of law enforcement who have to work in order to ensure the safety and security of the traveling public.”
Cholewinski-the Boy had been released from prison on Wednesday, according to the Tulsa city jail records, and it was not immediately clear whether he has an attorney.
“We would like to thank all of our crew members, who, as soon as they became aware of this problem, it is immediately separated from the mother and her daughter are on the run. They will then be asked to enforce the law, and from this plane to Tulsa,” American Airlines said in a statement to The Hill. “The quick actions of the crew ensured the safety and well-being of our customers, the better.”

Cholewinski-the Boy was arrested for a DUI in 2010 and pleaded guilty to poisoning in July of 2018, according to the deseret.com
