“What a fantastic father!” came an observation from Mike Levy, a passenger who was sitting next to a Hall on one of Pierce Delta flights and eventually shared the story on Facebook.
“Hall decided he would spend the holiday with her. So, he flies on each of its flights for today and tomorrow across the country to spend time with his daughter for Christmas,” Levy wrote.
Pierce said her father was on each flight, and “even got the first class RSW-DTW” (between Fort Myers, Florida, and Detroit), calling it a “Christmas miracle”, because he was able to fly standby for free a flight attendant is older — and there was an extra seat on every flight for her father, Atlanta’s WXIA-TV reported.
“A special thank you to all of the patient, the beautiful port agents across the country and my perfect crew,” she wrote in a Facebook post.
