The interest of the average Flemish organic products will continue growing year after year. This is apparent from the new Biojaarrapport, proposed by the department of Agriculture and Fisheries.
Nine in ten Belgians bought in 2016 at least one reference biological product and the total sales of organic products in that year with twelve percent. Three percent of today’s products sold in the fresh market are organic. These are the main findings of the new Biojaarrapport.
Who last year organic bought, did that, on average, thirteen times.
