Five interesting competitions this week: debut Neres beckons

This week again there is interlandvoetbal on the program. In addition to the matches of Orange, here are five interesting duels in order to keep an eye on.

Belgium-Russia (Thursday 20.45 hours in Brussels)
This competition between the on-paper strongest teams from group I. ‘The Red Devils’ have to contend with many injuries: Kevin De Bruyne, Axel Witsel, Thomas Meunier, Moussa Dembélé and Vincent Kompany are all available.

The Russians may Vyacheslav Karavaev of Vitesse are interlanddebuut. The 23-year-old right back is, in that case the first Premier league player after Dmitri Bulykin true for Russia.

England-Czech republic (Friday 20.45 hrs in London)
England, that never European champion, begins with a paper difficult kwalificatieduel with the Czech republic. The Manchester City duo John Stones and Fabian Delph is missing due to injuries.

Italy-Finland (Saturday 20.45 hours at Udine)
After missing the world cup in Russia, the ‘Azzurri’ in the upcoming european CHAMPIONSHIP qualifiers in search of reparation. Coach Roberto Mancini is in may 2018 appointed to the Italians to the european CHAMPIONSHIPS to lead.

A prominent name in the selection of Mancini is the 36-year-old Fabio Quagliarella. The striker of Sampdoria is preferred over Mario Champions, who according to the coach, still not in optimal condition.

In Finland, three (former) Premier league players part of the selection. Both PEC Zwolle-defender Thomas Lamb as midfielders Fredrik Jensen (ex-FC Twente) and Tim Sparv (former FC Groningen) have been called up.

France-Iceland (Monday 20.45 hours in Paris)
In October last year played in France and Iceland all out against each other in a friendly international match. That match ended in a surprising 2-2-a draw and so is the reigning world champion France warned.

With Albert Gudmundsson (AZ), Hannes Thór Halldórsson, Victor Pálsson (both ex-NEC), Aron Gunnarsson, Johann Berg Gudmundsson (both old-AZ) and Alfred Finnbogason (ex-sc Heerenveen) has the selection of six players who have a link with the Premier league.

Kolbeinn Sigthórsson, former player of Ajax and AZ, is not called up by national coach Erik Hamrén.
