Fitbit discharges 110 people after a disappointing quarter

At Fitbit disappear there are 110 jobs due to disappointing quarterly results. From preliminary figures it appears that the company has a turnover turned of between 572 and 580 million u.s. dollars (537 to 544 million euros), while there are 725 to 750 million was expected.

Fitbit CEO James Park talks of a slow holiday season, but he expected that the stagnation in growth will be temporary. The redundancies will be in the first quarter of this year.
The company turned according to the provisional figures of last year a turnover of 1.5 to 1.7 billion dollars. That caused a loss of 0.22 to 0.44 dollars per share.
