FIFA nominates Wiegman for title of ‘best coach team’
Sarina Wiegman has a chance to be named best coach of a team in 2017. The coach of Orange is by wereldvoetbalbond FIFA with nine others nominated.
Wiegman helped Orange a little two weeks ago to the European title. The coach has competition from five other coaches: Olivier Echouafni (France), Nils Nielsen (Denmark), Florence Omagbemi (Nigeria), Dominik Thalhammer (Austria), and Hwang Yong-bong (South Korea).
The other four nominees are Emma Hayes (Chelsea), Ralf Kellermann (VfL Wolfsburg), Xavi Llorens (FC Barcelona), Gerard Precheur (Olympique Lyon).
National coaches, captains of national teams, journalists and fans to determine jointly who the price. From Monday to Friday 7 september, on the website of the FIFA vote.
Of the ten nominees remain at three over. Monday 23 October is published which coach has won.
