Feyenoord say goodbye to reservekeeper Hansson
Feyenoord has taken leave of Pär Hansson. The expiring contract of the Swedish reservekeeper is not renewed.
The 30-year-old Hansson came this season, twice in action for Feyenoord and both times it produced a defeat, in the match for the Johan Cruijff Scale against PSV and against Go Ahead Eagles for the league (two times 1-0).
The Rotterdam-based club picked up the clubloze Hansson in early 2016 when reservekeeper Warner Hahn a knee injury had incurred. The Swede then functioned as a second choice behind Kenneth Vermeer, who, in turn, in the preparation for this season, a heavy achillespeesblessure down.
Feyenoord caught by Brad Jones to contract. The Australian was the year the fixed number one.
With Jones, Vermeer, Hahn, and Justin Bijlow has the won the national championship for the upcoming season four goalkeepers under contract.
