Feyenoord close the deal with local authorities for new training complex
Feyenoord has signed a partnership agreement with the municipality of Rotterdam for the construction of the new training complex.
At the end of last year it was announced that Feyenoord for a new home wants to build for the first team. The new complex is expected to be at the beginning of the season 2018/2019.
“The signing of this agreement is a crucial point in the further development of the top sports climate,” said Gudde Tuesday in his speech during the new year’s reception of the Locals.
The new complex will replace the current Varkenoord. Players and staff now need a dual carriageway to cross to the training ground to achieve.
Gudde is also delighted with the plans for a new complex. “In my eyes, this is one of the most important developments at Feyenoord over the past ten years.”
