Fedja van Huêt see American career up to the age of
Fedja van Huêt finds himself too old to still have a career in America to chase. The 43-year-old actor is satisfied with his work in the Netherlands.
“I have a lot of respect for actors who dare to convert to for a longer time go to America, but I am now too old for that,” says Van Huêt Saturday in the Woman’s annex of The Telegraph.
Of Huêt explains that when he was young, people these things yet did not do it. “You have to do that when you’re young, then you still have a chance. When I was that age, did you not, through the internet, the world became much smaller.”
A time Of Huêt close to an international role. He stood in his own words on the ‘shortlist’ for the series Homeland. “As the love interest of Carrie,” says the actor.
“I had the text already inside and had something to sign, but they were still a German actor gone; probably had to do with money, because it is in Berlin. Sometimes you are so very close, but it is also a lottery where your luck.”
Nonetheless, the 43-year-old Van Huêt’t say no, if he once be asked. “Then I would surely try,” he admits.
“But I need there not to attend, we have a daughter and I would like to support. In addition, I think the Netherlands is still a very fine country to work. I have the luck that I have so many interesting things you can do with good people around me, why would you search elsewhere?”
