FC Utrecht beat FC Twente in the first cup round, Vitesse further

FC Utrecht has Thursday night at the expense of FC Twente qualified for the second round of the KNVB-cup. The losing finalist last season, won in Enschede, the netherlands with 3-1. Vitesse won in the first round for the amateurs of ASV De Dijk: 7-2.

At Twente-Utrecht led the visitors at rest by a goal from Richairo Zivkovic. In the second half was the same by Enes Ünal, but Sébastien Haller and again, Zivkovic brought FC Utrecht claim the victory.

The team of trainer Erik ten Hag, the first victory of the season. In the Premier league was there in the first six duels three times gelijkgespeeld and three times lost.

FC Utrecht handed last season until the finale, where Feyenoord eventually with the 2-1 was too strong.

After more than a quarter of an hour came to FC Utrecht in the lead by Zivkovic. The 20-year-old striker, who this season is rented from Ajax, turned a bet of team-mate Nacer Barazite of direction.

Both teams were in the first half a few chances to score a goal. So were Yaw Yeboah (FC Twente) and Haller (FC Utrecht) dangerous.

Early in the second half was the Ünal for 1-1 made. He got the ball after a free-kick for his feet and left goalkeeper Robbin Ruiter no chance. It was the mercenary from Manchester City for his sixth hit this season.
