nearvideo Papadopoulos: Intel agents trying to get my wife to wear, wire
The former trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos revealed new details about intelligence services, spying on him.
The former trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos said on Thursday that the FBI tried to catch his wife to wear a wire, “” and that he thinks that Congress “copies probably has” of meetings that he had to prove that he is being spied on by the FBI.
“In addition to the FBI and my then-girlfriend, now wife, tried to have, that actually wear a wire to trick it to try myself-this was completely crazy-she was an Italian citizen, you visit me as a friend. And you downloaded it and tried to flip her against me, that was incredibly bizarre,” Papadopoulos said on Fox News’ “The Ingraham angle.”
FBI INFORMANT MET WITH THREE OF THE TRUMP ADVISER DURING THE CAMPAIGN, REPORT SAYS
Papadopoulos said he believes his wife was targeted because she knew all about academic Joseph Mifsud, that the connection to the Italian government.
“But what we believe in, that you really had in your sights, is, we believe, that they knew all about Joseph Mifsud’ s relations with the Italian government and its compounds in Europe, we just found out today that … the Prime Minister … just the heads of the three intel agencies in Italy fired. And I think it has to do with the person, Joseph Mifsud, who asked the President, and Devin Nunes, and other people to check the government in Italy, a lot more, because he’s actually a fraud to the core of this whole,” Papadopoulos said.
Mifsud, 59, a professor from Malta, who helped ignite the Russia probe in 2016, has largely disappeared from the public eye, since his name started popping up in the news. Nunes, a California Republican who is the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee.
Papadopoulos also host Laura Ingraham said that he thinks that the Congress and the President have already seen, records of proceedings of meetings of the former trump had helpers and that it revealed a “big bomb”, though.

“Something I’d like to make it clear, about this meeting with [Alexander] Downer: I don’t think I was just suspicious that he is spying on me, because in my transcripts to the Congress, you see, people like Mark Meadows and John Ratcliffe and asks me if I was ever presented with transcripts of the meetings that I had, said Alexander Downer and Joseph Mifsud, or these weird people that were running in me, and I no,” Papadopoulos said.
Downer is a former Australian politician and diplomat. Meadows is a Republican Congressman from North Carolina, Chairman of the conservative liberty Caucus. Ratcliffe, a Republican Congressman from Texas.
“So I think the Congress probably has transcripts, you probably already know, and the President knows, that these people were spying. It’s going to be a big bomb.”
