FBI returns items taken during Pulse shooting investigation

ORLANDO, Florida. – The FBI is the return of the items to the survivors and the family of the victim six months after the mass shooting at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub.

The bureau collected a number of 1,000 pieces during the investigation into the June 12 shooting that killed 49 people. The items were made available for pick-up this week in a resort in Orlando.

Survivor Orlando Torres tells the Orlando Sentinel (http://bit.ly/2hrqVoX he picked up an old ID badge, a credit card and a cell phone case and Wednesday. He says that the agents have him in a large room with tables. He described the items, and an agent picked up. His mobile phone has not been returned because the shooting is still under investigation.

A spokeswoman for the agency said that the items were “strictly personal in nature, not facts.”
