Fans Mariah Carey hope to hit Taylor Swift because of record
Fans of Mariah Carey are calling each other on social media for the new single from Taylor Swift to buy, or as much as possible, to stream. So may Carey may have the record for longest number 1 hit record ever kept.
Carey has nothing to do with swift’s Look What You Made Me Do, but if the number is quickly at the top of the charts ends up, it retains the singer shared record.
Hit Despacito Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber was this week the record that Carey in 1995, established with Boyz II Men. Their song One Sweet Day was sixteen weeks on the highest position in the charts.
If Despacito next week still at number 1, it disappears Carey so off the books as an artist, which is the longest in the American Top 100 dominated.
According to Billboard, the chart issues, heading Swift, hard on the number 1 position. The magazine is even predicting that, Look What You Made Me Do this week with about four hundred thousand downloads, the record for the 2017 breaks for best selling song in the week of the release.
That honor went to now, to Ed Sheeran, whose Shape Or You, in January, in a week’s 240,000 times was downloaded.
