Family deceased singer Chris Cornell wants statue in Seattle
The widow of Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell shows a statue of the singer, that gets a spot in his hometown of Seattle.
“He is a son of Seattle and we will have him home and honor,” according to Vicky Cornell in the Seattle Times.
The singer committed on may 18, suicide. For his widow the deed is still incomprehensible. “I understand that everyone is looking for answers,” she says. “But the truth is, that it is never to understand. Because it was never meant to be.”

She says that the support from fans and friends, many have meant for her family. The two have a 12-year-old daughter and an 11-year-old son, the singer also had a 17-year-old daughter from a previous marriage.
