“Mr. Felix, there isn’t much that I can say that has not already been said before,” the judge said as Felix sat down in silence. “Your calloused actions have ruined his life. I hope that what little had been done here, this is the day of rest for these families,” the Desert Sun reported.
Last year, a jury found Felix guilty on two counts of first-degree murder and attempted murder of six other staff members. They have recommended the death penalty. He was also convicted and sentenced to 368 years to life in prison for the murder.
“I would hope that it is,” Zerebny sister, Britta Kling, said in court while asking the judge to uphold the jury’s recommendation, the Desert Sun reported. “You can’t have enough of sense to him, for what he has done.”
“You’re going to be sitting in that cage for a long period of time,” Zerebny’s father, David’s Sword, and told the killer to justice. “My only message to you is,” I hope you burn in hell, Felix.'”
