Fahd Larhzaoui to see in Hamlet of The Apple
Actor Fahr Larhzaoui is one of the actors in the new version of Hamlet, the Hague-toneelgroep De Appel in november are going to play. It is his first big performance after the critically acclaimed solo performance Appearances, which he spent over two years in the netherlands and abroad.
Earlier it was Larhzaoui to see in GTST and the film Vox Populi by Eddy Terstall.
Other actors in Hamlet are, among others, David Geysen, Isabelle Chapel, Judith Linssen, Hugo Maerten, Bob Schwarze and Iwan Walhain. The world-famous piece by William Shakespeare tells the story of a Danish prince who takes revenge on his uncle after he discover that the old king has been murdered.
Hamlet is from Wednesday 9 to Sunday 27 november in the Appeltheater in The Hague. The successful, multi-award-winning Hague company threatens in 2017 after a half-century to be eliminated. A few years ago, the government subsidy is already discontinued and now it also threatens the municipality of The Hague, the grant to terminate.
The city council discusses november 4, on the plan of cultuurwethouder Joris Wijsmuller. This is the last chance for the Apple to the impending decision to turn back. If this is not done, it is Hamlet may be the last performance of the company.
