Facebook launches new video platform Watch
Facebook wants to compete with video site YouTube, and launches its own video platform Watch.
Watch is a new version of the videotabblad that Facebook already has. The social network wants people to Watch regularly visit to watch videos.
Now people can see Facebook videos especially are still in their timeline, between messages and links from friends. To allow users to Watch, to lure, has Facebook invested in original videoseries in different genres.
So does Mike Rowe, presenter of the Discovery series Dirty Jobs, a video series about people who do something extraordinary for their community. On Facebook Watch will be the in the USA also once per week, a baseball game live.
In the first instance, is for the Watch only displayed to a small number of American users. According to Facebook, the platform “soon” to more people rolled out. Then even more people get their own series to Watch.
