When facebook users today upload videos with music they have the rights not to be removed, with frustration as a result. Facebook wants to be there now.
The socialenetwerksite Facebook offers record companies and music publishers millions of dollars in a deal to get the rights to the music buy into videos that users upload on the network. It reports the financiaal news agency Bloomberg.
The video platform of Google, YouTube gives copyright holders the ability to earn money from advertising on user videos. It goes to an automated system that music can recognize. At Facebook the rightful beneficiaries only requirements are that imagery with their music is to be heard, be removed.
The music industry is negotiating for months with Facebook and now it says the network due to such automatic system to install, according to Bloomberg, that persons quotes which are close to the dossier. However, that can take two years to complete, what both parties don’t want to wait and see. Facebook strives for a fast deal after that, users are no longer frustrated because their videos down.
The news comes now Facebook is doing with a Watch, a comprehensive video platform with its own content.
