Facebook co-founder’s wife spent $650G to Shaun King’s PAC bid to reform the criminal justice system

Shaun king received about $650,000 from Cari Tuna, the wife of the co-founders of Facebook, in an attempt to recreate the criminal justice system.

The wife of Facebook co-founder has contributed to the majority of cash to a political action committee, led by Black Lives Matter activist Shaun King that the objectives of the state’s attorney race across the USA in an attempt to reshape the administration of criminal justice.

Cari Tuna — wife of Dustin Moskovitz, the co-founder of Facebook, along with Mark Zuckerberg contributed — to more than $650.000 to the Real justice PAC in February 2017, the Washington Free Beacon reported.

The PAC also took in $400,000, and contributions in addition to tuna-a generous donation, making it the top provider of financing most of the activities of the group.

King, who has recently come under fire for pushing a debunked story about a state trooper sexually assaulted a woman said his group to choose a “reform-minded prosecutors at the district and municipal level, the powers of their office to combat structural racism and the defence of our communities from abuse by state power.”

Tuna-donation seems to be the only contribution you made this election cycle, according to Federal Election Commission data. In previous cycles, they spent millions for a Union PAC, and an environmental group.

They also gave money to the democratic party group, and about $400,000 to the victory of Hillary Fund, Hillary Clinton’s fundraising Committee.

Her husband, who left Facebook in 2008, also used his wealth against the now-President Donald Trump, spending almost $30 million to defeat it, according to the Free Beacon.

“We just really felt forced, kind of climbing you are on the side line and ensure that the Democrats were able to win the election,” Moskovitz said at the time.

The revelation comes after reports that the New York billionaire George Soros has argued funneled almost $ 3 million in California’s state attorney race, the support of candidates, the behavior in favor of progressive policies, including lower incarceration rates, raids against police and changes in a bracket system, so they discriminated against the poor.
